It was a proud day for Wiley as we joined the Indooroopilly State School community to officially open the new Administration, Learning and Music Precinct.
The precinct was opened by The Honourable John-Paul Langbroek MP, Minister for Education and the Arts, alongside school leadership, staff, students and several of our project partners, Altus Group, Open Architecture and Inertia Engineering.
“The new precinct is the result of expert collaboration between our team, the Department, the school and our design and delivery partners,” said Tom Wilson, Operations Manager at Wiley. “Every one of our partners brought an outstanding level of technical skill and a genuine commitment to getting the details right. It reflects the calibre of what our team and partners can achieve together for the communities we build for.”
A precinct built for connection.
This three-storey precinct has quickly become the heart of the school. Thoughtfully designed to connect the campus in new ways, it offers welcoming, flexible spaces that support students, staff and families across administration, music and learning activities alike.
Facilities to support every student.
The new precinct brings together 12 new classrooms, a dedicated music block supporting the Instrumental Music program, contemporary administration facilities and specialist learning spaces, alongside improvements to Singleton Oval, new accessible ramps and additional onsite, covered parking.
As Minister Langbroek officially opened the precinct, he declared it a transformative project for the school community, providing students with the best possible learning environments.
“Our students deserve classrooms that motivate and inspire learning”, he said, adding that modern and state-of-the-art facilities like these help set students up for success, in one of Queenslands’s fastest growing areas.
